Kevin Van der Perren jatkaa etenemistään Belgian Tanssii Tähtien Kanssa-kisassa. Tällä viikolla vuorossa oli Paso Doble. Tuomaristo oli ilmeisesti positiivinen, mutta minua huvitti tuo Kevinin jäätävä ilme koko tanssin ajan :D
Kevin VdP continues his competition on Belgium's Dancing with the Stars. This week it was time for dance some Paso Doble. The jury seemed to be positive but I have to say it was hilarious to watch Kevin's scary staring expression during the whole dance :D

Kevin Van der Perren: Cha Cha Cha
Kevin Van der Perren osallistuu parhaillaan maansa Tanssii tähtien kanssa-kisaan :D
Tämä alla oleva video osoittaa, että ei Kevin ole mikään hassumpi tanssija! Kyllä huomaa, että esiintymiskokemusta on ja nostotkin sujuvat niin hyvin, että ehkä oikeasti näemme hänet vielä pariluistelunkin merkeissä tulevaisuudessa!
Kevin Van der Perren is currently participating in Belgium's Dancing with the Starts! :D He seems to be a quite a good dancer and you can see that he is an experienced performer. All the lifts are going so well that maybe he really has been practicing some pairs skating lately...

Van der Perren pariluistelijaksi!
Kevin Van der Perren, joka ilmoitti keväällä lopettavansa pitkän luistelu-uransa onkin päättänyt yllättää ja kokeilla pariluistelua! Hän etsii parhaillaan paria ja vaihtoehtoja on jo löytynyt kolmekin kappaletta. Kevinin tavoitteena ovat EM-kisat ja MM-kisat ja hän uskoo mahdollisuuksiin päästä kuuden parhaan joukkoon EM-tasolla. Itselleni tämä Van der Perrenin ilmoitus oli aika iso yllätys, mutta positiivinen sellainen. Tulee olemaan hauska seurata miten hän kisoissa pärjäilee parinsa kanssa, jos kaikki sujuu suunnitelmien mukaan. Heittojen ja nostojen opettelu tulee olemaan vaikeaa jo 30-vuotiaalle Kevinille, mutta ehkäpä hyvä ja kokenut pari voi auttaa häntä oppimaan ne nopeasti? Go Kevin!
This is amazing and surprising news! Kevin Van der Perren wants to try skating in pairs. He is currently searching for a partner and is quite serious; his goal is to participate in European Championships and World Championships one day. It will be very interesting to see how things will work out. Will he learn the lifts and the throws. Maybe having an experienced partner will help him? I wish him good luck and hope to see him competing one day! :)
